I Want to Be Real With You

I’m not a therapist, and I’m not part of the mental‑health field. I’m just a person — like you — trying to make it through one day at a time.

My life hasn’t been easy. I’ve been through four marriages, and this last one finally brought me the love and stability I’d been searching for. My wife has fought battles most people never see — PAH, a double‑lung transplant — and she’s still here, still fighting, still by my side.

I’ve known loss too. A stillborn son. My mum. My stepfather twelve years later. A natural father I never got the chance to meet. I even survived a motorcycle accident that should have taken my life.

But I’m still here. And if you’re reading this, so are you.

The Calm Cast exists because I know what it feels like to struggle, to hurt, to wonder if you’ll ever feel steady again. I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to be real with you — to create a space where you can breathe, slow down, and know you’re not alone.
